PepsiCo signs memorandum of understanding to conduct trials with recycled plastic bottles
At the Pakistan Pavilion of Dubai Expo, 2020, PepsiCo Pakistan and Novatex Limited announced recycled plastic bottle trials.
The announcement was made in the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Climate Change, Mr. Malik Amin Aslam.
The two entities have already partnered to collect and recycle over 5,000 tons of plastic in the country.
PepsiCo Pakistan and Novatex Limited will now work together to significantly increase used plastic bottle collection.
PepsiCo Pakistan also met with the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Climate Change to discuss ‘Public-Private Sector Collaboration for a Clean and Green Pakistan’. Mr. Malik Amin Aslam, at the Pakistan Pavilion of Expo 2020 Dubai.
The discussion centered on enhancing public-private sector collaboration to combat climate change and promote the Prime Minister’s ‘Clean Green Pakistan’ agenda.
