By 2025, Microsoft will provide AI skilling chances to 2 million individuals in India, according to CEO Satya Nadella, who also stated that the US and India need to work together on AI standards and laws.
The corporation released a statement stating that the skilling will enable inclusive socio-economic advancement by teaching people in rural and tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
“I hope consensus emerges and that is what helps, in some sense, (with) the diffusion of this technology,” Nadella said at a conference in Mumbai, referring to global attempts to draw up rules and regulate AI.
Nadella said he hoped the diffusion of AI globally would lead to “equal distribution of economic growth”.
